divine objects

Divine Objects are the Fragments, the various items related to them, and things previously owned by the late God and Devil.

Fragments

The death of the God and Devil resulted in their gem-like core shattering and scattering all over the world. These pieces are later known as “Fragments.” Each piece of the Fragment contains immense power. The Devil’s Fragments are believed to hold immense destructive powers to whoever possesses them, while also acting as a battery-like source of energy and power to Awasaan. The God’s Fragments each have different properties, including but not limited to rejuvenation, creation, etc.

Awasaan and its Vessels
  • Also known as the Sword of the End. It has the power to destroy and kill anything, including immortal beings, and also prevent any sort of regeneration of living beings. At its full power, it is able to erase all existence within a world.

  • It is powered by the energy absorbed within the Devil’s core/gem/Fragments. The Sword can access this power through the gem embedded inside a Vessels’ body, or by having the gem inserted directly into the Sword itself.

  • With each increasing number in the amount of Fragment the Sword has access to, the area of damage that can be dealt with is amplified.

  • The Sword is also believed to have a mind of its own–constantly asking for more power. If one’s will is not strong enough, one can easily become corrupted by the Sword.

  • For the Sword to materialize, it is required to be bound, or be under a Contract, with a user. Severing ties with the Sword and not creating any new Contract with another user within a certain duration will result in it disappearing.

  • The power the Sword feeds on is primarily negative energy, especially emotions. The gem, now separated into Fragments, is in fact very hungry for power and energy, acting like a battery that requires to be recharged. It recharges itself by absorbing the negative energy surrounding it. In order for the Fragments to do so most efficiently, it creates itself a live vessel after reaching a certain amount of energy it has absorbed. The live vessel will take the form of whatever species first made contact with it. Once the Vessel is created, the Fragments behave as their core or “heart,” similarly to how the complete gem does so for the Devil. The Fragment will then continue to absorb energy from both its Vessel and the environment surrounding them.

  • The Vessel is a living being that functions and develops just like whatever species it is trying to mimic. The Vessels too can use the energy or power stored within the gem, but since said energy is technically the Vessels’ life force, excess use of it can result in their death. If they were to use their power however, it is a very destructive one that can easily kill their enemies, mortal or not. In exchange for immense power, Vessels are unable to perform certain species’ specific skills and can use little to no magic.

  • There are five Devil Fragments in total, all varying in size. The bigger the size, the longer it takes for the Fragment to absorb the necessary energy to produce itself a Vessel.

  • Four of the five Vessels were killed with only one left. The identity of this final Vessel is  [CLASSIFIED]
