Demon & Monster realm

• The realm in which the Devil and their creations reside. Currently, the demon and monster realm is separated into two separate ones as a result of the ___ War.
   

• Obviously, there are overlaps between demons and monsters, thus this separation–which was determined through the classification between the two groups of species–is not perfect. The classification between demons/monsters the angels used to separate the two however is as follows:

  • Demons: The direct followers of the Devil. They are supposedly, like their leader, the embodiment of evil. All demons possess a Mark, which is the sign of their loyalty toward the Devil. The Mark is small and is typically found on the neck, wrist, chest, and hand region of a demon. This Mark is only present on pure-blooded demons, therefore it is not present even on offspring between a demon and a monster that are both creations of the Devil. Besides the Mark, their physical characteristics include either horn(s), wings, a tail, or a combination of all three. 

  • Monsters: The other creation of the Devil. They mostly are creatures based on various myths and legends worldwide. The monsters too follow the Devil, but not to the extent of the demons, thus they don’t possess the Mark.
     

• Due to the Barrier between the monsters and demons being a pseudo-Barrier, there are times that demons and monsters may cross over to the wrong side.

• In contrast to the realm of angels, the realm of monsters and demons is supposed to represent the “evil”, particularly in humans, thus, anything from any time period can exist within this realm, but excluding the future. Though that is the case, there is an overall theme that is now slightly different between the two sides after having been separated from one another for quite some time: the overall setting, fashion, and technology on the monsters’ side are mostly from the early 2000s, while the demons’ side is more from the gothic era.

• Due to previous interactions with other species that are diurnal, both demons and monsters continue to have a more diurnal lifestyle. However, after the separation, the demons reverted back to being nocturnal.

• The overall weather in both places is rather gloomy with dim sunlight and colder temperatures all year round. The demons' side somehow has an even darker atmosphere and less access to sunlight though.
